Stork has developed and applies several high-tech coatings that are ideally suited to effectively deal with problems associated with high temperatures normally found in gas turbines and other combustion type processes.
Our HVOF sprayed Chrome Carbide and MCrAlY coatings, and our specially designed Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBC's) are applied onto various gas turbine hot-section components such as burner cans, baskets, nozzles, cross-fire tubes, spring clips, blades and vanes. The use of multi-axis robots, turn tables and other automated systems for coating deposition assures reproducibility and precise control of coating thickness and quality.
Each coated component comes with complete quality documentation including metallographic analysis done by our in-house QA Lab. With Stork’s Product Certification Program we set the standard of accountability for the industry.
